Future Events

The Band of the Hampshire Constabulary will be playing at Cowes Yacht Haven on Saturday 21st March 2009 . The concert will start at 7.30pm with a programme of music for all the family. Previous concerts have raised hundreds of pounds for the Wessex Cancer Trust. This year proceeds from the concert will go to the local IOW Motor Neurone Disease association.

Tickets are priced at £7.50 or £4 for concessions.

Wightlink is supporting the event by covering the costs of the band's ferry travel.

CD for MND Association
musical notes

Bryan Frost, who has MND, is a member of the Association in the Portsmouth area. Bryan has produced a CD with his band and has been selling it with all the proceeds going to the MND Association. He has already raised £1500 and would like the CD to be publicised more widely so that he can raise even more money.

He has been performing in his spare time for quite some while and one of his ambitions has always been to record with a female singer, which he did for this CD.

The CD is really excellent - a mix of rock and roll and slower songs, and very well produced.
